Hotel-school Senac São Paulo is an educational center of reference that develops people and organizations for the hospitality segment, acting by means of the integration of a pedagogic model and its own hotels with commercial operation of excellence.
From the perspective of providing students with professional practice and experience – as differentials in the knowledge-building process – by means of real activities in work posts, the hotel-school is synonymous of a pedagogical company.
At the hotel-school, where knowledge is communicated and operated, students approach professional reality with the aim of developing their capacity for analysis, to understand and deal with unforeseen events, teamwork, quality and ethics.
The experience enables students to detect real problems and to seek adequate, original, creative solutions that are suitable for the situation in which they are employed. The study, performed by means of cases, reports, experiences and examples, is an intentional, organized, problem-solving oriented act. It also involves providing the opportunity for reflection about the professional attitude in different learning spaces, improving behavioral aspects that contribute toward professional education.
In this manner, in the hotel-school environment, student, teacher and employees share knowledge, experience the potentialities and the weak points of the hotel activity, favoring and strengthening new teaching-learning comprehension. Students become employees and employees students, acquiring and thus disseminating new ways of thinking, doing and acting, in an environment where guests’ peculiarities make the process challenging.
